Asian AIDS Action Executive Director to Attend World’s Largest HIV/AIDS Conference in Rio de Janeiro
Deep Kim Singh to represent AAA at AIDS 2026 — the 26th International AIDS Conference, Rio de Janeiro, July 26–31, 2026

Asian AIDS Action (AAA) is pleased to announce that its Executive Director, Deep Kim Singh, has been selected to attend AIDS 2026 — the 26th International AIDS Conference, taking place at Riocentro, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from July 26–31, 2026.
AIDS 2026 is the world’s largest and most prestigious conference on HIV and AIDS, convened by the International AIDS Society (IAS) and expected to bring together up to 10,000 researchers, clinicians, policy makers, community leaders, and activists from across the globe. This year’s conference carries the theme “Rethink. Rebuild. Rise.”
Deep Kim Singh, who has been at the forefront of HIV/AIDS advocacy in Asia for over three decades, will attend as an NGO delegate representing Asian AIDS Action.
“This is a defining moment for the global HIV response,” said Deep Kim Singh.
AIDS 2026 takes place at a time of unprecedented pressure on HIV programmes worldwide.
